I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you. I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. ~ Romans 1:11-12
Who helps encourage you in your faith? Do you have a specific writer that you read? A speaker that you listen to? If not, ask a friend who they like to read or follow because they are encouraged in their faith when they do.
Do you have a friend that encourages you? Do you have a friend that holds you accountable when you veer off track? Intentionally spend more time with that person this Lenten season.
Who do you help encourage in their faith? Who calls/texts you when they’re struggling or need prayer? Who depends on you to remind them of what’s real and true? Take some time today to reach out to them.
Prayer: God, thank you for the people who come into our lives and make a difference. Thank you for the encouragement I receive from them. Help me to be that encourager for someone else. Send someone across my path today that I might encourage them today. Amen.
