Be careful of the words that you use because you have power and authority with your words. That's why Paul talks about bringing every thought captive in obedience to Christ. He knows we have power. If we're always speaking of discouraging issues, we will never live the victorious Life that we are supposed to live. This isn't name it and claim it and it will be given, this is about faith and belief and the concept of acknowledging that the Holy Spirit lives in you and if the Holy Spirit is powerful, why couldn't you have that kind of power? This doesn't mean that nothing bad will ever happen, but what it does say is that in spite of the bad, you have the power to control your mindset and certain things in your life. Meghan DeGregory (originally published Feb 2021)

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.   2 Cor 10:4,5 ESV

Every positive thought is a silent prayer that will change your life.
