How has your year been?  Most folks will say it's been painfully difficult.  Many will have different reasons. I talk to people all day  and the one thing I hear consistently is that this year has been trying, depressing and lonely.  Even those who follow the Lord share that it has been a dark year.  We are all welcoming 2021 in the hopes that the year will bring in beauty and positivity.    Those of us who say we are Christians Are allowed to feel sad and scared. We are allowed to share that with others- even those who are not believers. I think being transparent and honest makes it more approachable and  allows people who do not have the hope that we have to see that though we don't know what is ahead, we know that God is in control.  We know that ultimately He will be with us even If 2021 is difficult as well.  Be honest, transparent and vulnerable with those that you share your lives with. However, make sure to point them to God. Remember your light will shine into their lives.    This is the time we need hope. This is the time the world needs hope. -Meghan
